Dragon Boat Racing originates from China but is now one of the UK’s most exiting team-based water sports activities and is rapidly growing in the corporate world. What better way to get teams working together than making a splash in one of our 30’ Dragon Boats seating up to 10 paddlers and a drummer.

Our racing events are perfect for a unique team building day out and are an excellent way to raise funds for charity. Whether you’re looking for a 40 person racing afternoon or a huge regatta with several hundred participants, NewWave Events have got you covered. Race days can vary from 4-48 teams and work well as a half day activity at your company away day or a full day festival for a memorable charity fundraiser.
This corporate event is exciting, active and really gets teams working together to cross the finish line with the fastest time. A scoreboard is displayed so teams can keep an eye on their competitors throughout and our staff will give each team coaching and motivation for each race. At the end of the event we will announce the overall winners and prizes will be awarded along with a bottle of bubbly!
