A care kit assembly CSR event gives your team one clear job, make as many useful donation packs as you can, properly and with care. It’s a good fit when you want people talking, doing, and finishing with something tangible rather than just a nice feeling and a leftover flipchart.
We bring the materials, the packing stations, the instructions and the facilitators. You bring the people. We can run it at your office, a hotel, a conference venue or pretty much any decent indoor space. It’s fully mobile and fully run by us, so you’re not chasing bits of kit or trying to work out who forgot the tape.
The session usually starts with a short introduction to the cause, so people know exactly who the kits are for and why they matter. Then we split the group into smaller teams, each with a role. One team might be sorting contents, another packing, another doing quality checks, and if you want a bit of extra pace we can add a mini challenge or two.
Those challenges are optional, by the way. Some groups want a straight packing session with a calm rhythm. Others like a bit of healthy competition, such as a sorting race, a budgeting challenge, or a quick design task for the message card that goes inside each pack. We’ll pitch it to your crowd, not ours.
This works well for mixed groups because the task is straightforward and the effort is shared out. Nobody needs previous experience. People can stand or sit. The activity is light on physical effort, which makes it a good shout for teams with different comfort levels, different ages, and different levels of enthusiasm for being shouted at in the name of bonding.
It also gives you a clear CSR story without the faff. Teams can see the impact in black and white, how many kits were made, what each one contains, and who receives them. If you need reporting for internal comms or ESG updates, we can help with the numbers and the story around the handover.
If you’re after a day that pulls people together without making it feel like a corporate lecture, this does the job nicely. It’s practical, human, and easy for everyone to understand. People get on with it, have a few laughs, and leave knowing they’ve done something with a bit of meaning behind it.
We’ll talk you through timings, kit choice, venue set-up and any branding or message cards you want to include. If there’s something that won’t suit your group, we’ll say so. Better that than forcing a square peg into a round hole.
These events work particularly well for away days, volunteer days, onboarding, cross-team events and end-of-quarter thank-yous. They’re also a handy option when you want a charity element but don’t want to rely on the weather, a big outdoor space or a load of specialist gear.
